What we do
Qingdao Marram Chemical operates at the intersection of custom synthesis and reliable bulk supply. Rather than a catalogue of commodity items, we work with customers on defined technical requirements: a target molecule, a purity specification, a destination market and its regulatory regime. From that starting point we cover the full industrialisation chain — route development, process optimisation, pilot verification, scale-up and standardised production — and we carry the analytical and documentary rigour that B2B chemical procurement depends on.
Our product portfolio spans four groups: cosmetic ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates, dye and pigment intermediates, and analytical standards and reference materials. Each product is supplied with a complete documentation package — specification sheet, certificate of analysis, and a 16-section Safety Data Sheet — so that importers, formulators and quality teams are not left assembling paperwork on their own.
Our operating principle is summarised in one phrase: Process Oriented, Quality Driven, Sustainable Development. In practice that means we are judged as much on batch consistency, documentation completeness and responsiveness as on the product itself.
Company information
Our three-in-one service model
The model is deliberately narrow, because each element reinforces the others. Technical development without manufacturing capability produces routes that cannot be scaled. Manufacturing without regulatory support produces material that cannot cross a border. We maintain all three.
Custom R&D and process development
Our R&D team designs synthetic routes, optimises manufacturing processes and resolves scale-up challenges. The work covers route screening, impurity profiling and the analytical method development needed to control both.
Deliverable: a documented, reproducible process — not a one-off laboratory result
Cooperative mass production
Scale-up and commercial production run at our cooperative base, Gersen Chemical (Lanzhou) Co., Ltd., under GB/T19001-2016 and ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems. Production is monitored against strict process parameters with full batch traceability.
Deliverable: consistent commercial-tonnage material with batch-level documentation
Regulatory documentation support
We prepare and verify the documentation set that international import requires: GHS/CLP-aligned SDS, per-batch COA, specification sheets, transport documentation and dossier support for audits and registrations.
Deliverable: a complete, import-ready document pack rather than a partial one
Manufacturing capabilities
Our cooperative Lanzhou production base covers 13,800 m² with Class A workshops, comprehensive reactor capacity and full environmental protection systems. Capacity is spread across glass-lined and stainless steel reactors, rectification and tubular reactors, which lets us handle both corrosive and high-temperature process steps on the same site.

Regulatory and compliance support
Every product is supplied with a complete documentation package, which removes the administrative burden of worldwide import. The scope of that support:
| Area | What we provide |
|---|---|
| Safety Data Sheet | 16-section SDS in English and German, aligned to current ECHA guidance |
| Certificate of Analysis | Per-batch analytical report covering assay and the specification parameters that matter for the application |
| GHS / CLP | Hazard classification and labelling per EU Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 |
| Transport documentation | Dangerous goods classification and UN / ADR / IATA documentation support |
| Technical data sheet | Product specification with acceptance limits and unit basis |
| Export documentation | Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and destination-specific documents |
| Quality certificate | ISO 9001:2015 cooperative manufacturing base |
On REACH specifically: as a Chinese manufacturer we hold no REACH registration, and we do not claim one. What we do is supply the substance identity, composition, SDS, COA and traceability data that an EU importer or Only Representative needs in order to complete their own registration. Our regulatory note on REACH obligations sets out exactly how that allocation of duties works.
How we work with customers
Requirement definition
We start from your specification: target molecule and CAS, purity and grade, packaging, quantity, destination market and the regulatory documents that market requires. Vague enquiries produce vague quotes, so this step is worth doing properly.
Technical and documentary assessment
We confirm whether we can meet the specification from current stock or production, and we put the specification sheet, COA format and SDS in front of you before any commercial discussion. Documents first is deliberate — it lets both sides eliminate problems cheaply.
Sample and validation
Samples are drawn from production batches where available. Minimum order quantity is 1 kg for commercial orders, with smaller research quantities supported. For cosmetic ingredients such as Dicaprylyl Ether we hold stock, so samples and small orders move quickly.
Commercial terms and logistics
Packaging, delivery terms, lead time and export documentation are settled in writing. Liquid cosmetic ingredients ship in 160 kg net iron drums (200 L), 1000 L IBCs or 1–25 L packs depending on quantity; solid fine chemicals ship in 25 kg net drums.
Supply and follow-up
After the first shipment we track batch consistency, provide updated documentation as required, and remain the technical contact for questions about process, impurity control or scale-up.
Why buyers work with us
- Producer, not trader. We have a named cooperative production site with specific equipment, not a marketplace listing. That distinction matters commercially, analytically and — for EU buyers — legally, because the right to appoint an Only Representative attaches to manufacturers.
- Documentation discipline. The SDS, COA and specification pack is prepared before the commercial decision, not assembled afterwards under schedule pressure.
- Low entry threshold. A 1 kg minimum order quantity means a first order can validate the full commercial chain — packaging, documentation, labelling, transport — without committing to bulk volume.
- Technical responsiveness. Questions about synthesis route, impurity control and scale-up limits are answered specifically, because the people answering them are close to the process.
- Regulatory realism. We describe our regulatory position accurately — including what we do not hold — because a supplier whose compliance claims are precise is easier to build a qualification file around than one whose claims are broad.
